Good for Goodwood Revival and re-enactment events, this vintage navy sea cadet’s uniform comprises a short jacket with anchor embossed gold metallic buttons and matching trousers.
The jacket is unlined with a rever collar and notched lapels, two large patch pockets with buttoned flaps and a 2” waistband with plain button fastening. The trousers have sharply pressed front creases, button fly, two side and two back buttoning pockets, buttons for braces and a waistband with metallic clasp buckle.
The very top button of the trousers is missing (but concealed by the buckle and could easily be replaced) and the uniform could do with a good airing to eliminate slight mustiness from long term storage, but it is otherwise in very good condition.
