Let it snow!
We know it was wrong to tempt fate! Only at the beginning of last week we were remarking how lightly we had got off weather wise this winter. Apart from a few white flurries which quickly turned to sleet, we were feeling positively smug - that is until the snow arrived with a vengeance, and didn't melt, marooning the frockmobile in a drift with a 12 inch topping of layered snow and ice.
Amazingly the posties have been getting through and we can still get to our local post office on foot to send out our orders, but they may be subject to some delay due to the adverse conditions here and elsewhere.
Thankfully, it's not as bad as it was two years ago when a minor Frocker had to hole up in a hotel as he couldn't make it back from Dundee. He did make himself useful by fixing the hotel's IT system and won handsomely at the local casino during his away-stay, but that's another story altogether.
So we are wearing cashmere, lots of it, and our trusty faux fur coat when we have to brave the elements. While we have sold a lot of the aforesaid faux fur, cashmere, mohair and woolly jumpers over recent weeks, we still have plenty of snow-busting, frost-defying frockery on offer in our catalogue, with lots more waiting in the stock room.
As a winter warmer we are offering 15% off all purchases until Sunday. Just enter SNOW-15 at the checkout for your discount to be applied.
