Teenage Depression makes Middle Age Impression

We know we've mentioned this before, but we are big fans of Eddie and the Hot Rods and were delighted to find they were playing a series of gigs in Scotland in November. The fact that they were coming to Dundee was a bonus, but was sadly subject to a short notice cancellation in favour of Kirkcaldy (go figure!)  And so it was that we took ourselves down to Behind the Wall in Falkirk for their first Scottish outing of the year and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with old friends and fellow frockers.

The boys were on top form and delivered, with great gusto, their usual energetic set, including the classic Teenage Depression and old favourite Do Anything You Wanna Do. Barrie wore an original Carnaby St mod jacket from the Frockery for the performance, which has had his name on it for the past year. It was a perfect fit for the svelte lead singer who also happens to be a real charmer. (Sorry the camera phone images don't do him justice)

They are all top blokes, to be honest, and really appreciate their fans. If you get the chance, go and see them - here's the gig list - as you won't be disappointed.
