Thawing out for Christmas

Thankfully the thaw has arrived.  We are  at last getting back to normal in north east Scotland and delivery times are predictable once more. We may  have been critical of Royal Mail in the past, but right now the posties deserve nothing but praise for battling some of the most challenging weather conditions in recent years to get deliveries through to customers.

Now that Christmas is fast approaching, we would like to advise customers that last orders for Christmas delivery within the UK should be placed by midday on Tuesday 21st December, which is the last posting date for first class mail, or by midday on Thursday 23rd December for special delivery items.

We will still be sending out orders until Christmas Eve and will be back at the frock face on Wednesday 29th December. In Scotland, we always need an extra day to recover from Hogmanay, so we will be resuming normal service on Wednesday 5th January.

Thanks to all our customers for their support over the past year. We wish you all a very merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
