Vintage glad rags to rev up for the Goodwood Revival
The Goodwood Revival weekend is like taking a trip back in time, not only for motor sport enthusiasts but also for vintage fashion aficionados, as ladies and gents dress up in authentic period costume to reflect their own favourite Goodwood era from late 40s to mid 60s. Many of our customers are Revival regulars and we find our vintage frockery flies off the rails in anticipation of the extravaganza every September.

Description
Vintage vanity / train case in dogtooth check wipe-clean vinyl with tan leather trim, articulated top handle with buckles and brass front flip closure (no key). Large mirror contained in leather holder inside the lid and there are holders for cosmetics and an elasticated pocket with plastic lined base. Measures approx.11.5” x 8” x 7”, in very good vintage condition.
Sizing
Customers are asked to bear in mind that vintage garment sizes bear little or no resemblance to contemporary sizes. Furthermore, current high street size labels are inconsistent, with M&S and Wallis being noted for their generous proportions while others come up on the small side.
Please always refer to the measurements provided in the item description rather than the garment label size, and note that any ‘best fit’ suggestion we make will be based on modern day sizing. By way of example, our own suggested standard size 12 dress has an underarm to underarm measurement of approximately 19" with a waist size of 30".

50s vintage navy multi rayon acetate satin scarf with a lovely sheen, featuring a bold floral bouquet in vibrant colours, with white hand-rolled edges and water repellent finish. Measures approx. 31” square with intact label, in excellent condition.
