Good for Goodwood Revival and re-enactment events, this men’s top quality vintage three piece suit comprises a matching jacket, waistcoat and trousers in light coloured tweed wool and is very heavy!
The fully lined single breasted jacket has notched lapels, three button fastening, two front flap pockets and three inside pockets. The tweed front waistcoat is also fully lined, fastens with five small buttons and has four front pockets and adjustable back strap. The trousers have well pressed front creases, 1½” turn ups, a button fly, two side and a single back buttoning pockets and buttons for braces, and two strap/buckle adjusters under the back waistband.
The suit is in excellent vintage condition and can be mixed and matched to suit any occasion by the man about town and country gent alike. The suit would benefit from a good airing to eliminate mustiness from long term storage, but it is in otherwise excellent vintage condition.

Customers are asked to bear in mind that vintage garment sizes bear little or no resemblance to contemporary sizes. Furthermore, current high street size labels are inconsistent, with M&S and Wallis being noted for their generous proportions while others come up on the small side.
Please always refer to the measurements provided in the item description rather than the garment label size, and note that any ‘best fit’ suggestion we make will be based on modern day sizing. By way of example, our own suggested standard size 12 dress has an underarm to underarm measurement of approximately 19" with a waist size of 30".
In order to best gauge the suitability of an item, you may find it useful to compare our stated measurements with those of one of your own garments which is a comfortable fit. Our garment measurements are taken with the item laid flat, and all sizes in our descriptions are approximate.
